This jade screen is carved in high relief to one side with a scholar walking along with his attendant standing on a rocky path pointing his hand to a serene waterfall. The landscape is filled with tree branches sprouting from the surrounding rock faces. The reverse is finely polished to a plain surface and is further inscribed with an Imperial poem of the Twelfth year of Qianlong reign by Wang Youdun. The jade stone is in opaque celadon colour with some dark grey inclusions.
