The horse is finely carved in a recumbent position with head slightly lowered. The forelegs bends while the rear legs are tucked along the sides of the body. Its mane is lightly incised and rest on the neck from where a pair of wings is extended to the back. The long tail is tucked over the left rear leg. The stone is predominantly of pale celadon tone with extensive flecked russet inclusions at the rear part.
