With steep sides rising to a slightly flared rim, the exterior of the bowl painted in variegated cobalt tones with a continuous scroll of foliate stems issuing flower blossoms, the interior similarly decorated with interlocking floral and stems pattern, the motif framed between a double line at the rim and further plain bands encircling the foot,, covered overall with an unctuous glaze.
