The dish is well potted with rounded sides supported on a slightly tapered foot, the interior finely incised with a central medallion enclosing two striding dragons chasing a ‘flaming pearl’, applied overall with a pale sea-green glaze and a persimmon-glazed rim save for the base glazed white, inscribed in underglaze-blue with a four-character mark within a double circle, reading “Jingweitangzhi (congisned by the Hall of Jingwei)”
