Of octagonal form, the cup has a narrow splayed foot. The front and back decorated in shallow relief with a circular medallion of an archaistic dragon holding a lingzhi, with further sprays of ling fungus on the corners devided by a pair of archaistic scrool handles. The even glaze of light celadon green leaves free the underside of the foot, which is dressed with a brown wash.
