This mineral specimen has the typical characteristic of the amethysts produced from Tonglushan，where amethysts here have saturated colors，and amethyst’s purple and calcite’s white form a wonderful combination of colors. The crystal is intact with vitreous luster. The tiny pink calcite clusters cover the amethysts，and bringing the entire crystal a soft color.
Due to the fact that there are very few large-scale amethyst ore pockets in this mine，this amethyst has become one of the very few fine amethyst specimens with high collection value mined in China.
