This vase is nicely potted in square cross-section while each side is moulded with the Eight Daoist Trigrams arranged into horizontal registers of two columns. All the patterns are set below a semi-circular mouth and raised on a conforming splayed foot ring. The shape of this vase is in imitation to ancient Chinese jade,Cong. The vase is covered overall with a white glaze.
