This Amitabha is carved as seated in dhyanasana,with both hands in a meditational mudra. The body is covered by the flowing robes with long sleeves layered over a dhoti. The face is carved with peaceful expression and the long earlobes,all beneath a head of tightly coiled curls with prominent usnisa. A Buddhist symbol is carved on the chest.
