1.Liu Zifu’s son Liu Yanling is the husband of Wei Tianlin’s fifth daughter,Wei Ji. In the year of 1973,Liu Zifu traveled to Beijing and received this painting from Wei Tianlin. As Liu Zifu passed away,he bequeathed this painting to his daughter Liu Yanfang.
2.The original painting is accompanied with Wei Tianlin’s note:“Jietai Temple is a famous sight in Beijing,which is located in the Western Hills of rural Beijing. I went to sketch this temple in the year 1932. This year,I reworked on this painting in order to give it to Liu Zifu as a gift. 76-year-old man Wei Tianlin,1973,mid December”
3.The frame of this painting was made and carved by Wei Tianlin.
