This cup is finely potted with steep gently curved sides rising from a short tapering foot to a slightly everted rim， delicately painted with a flowering pomegranate in underglazed blue， the leafy plant amidst smaller flowers and rockwork， the reverse with a ten character poem in underglaze blue. The base writes in underglaze blue with a six-characters Kangxi mark within a circle.
The colour unfolds like the sun on pearl curtains. The breeze bears the fragrance in the shade of the white-washed wall.
