The pair of stem dishes are potted with shallow rounded sides rising to a gently flared rim, supported on a narrow splayed stem encircled by a raised fillet, finely decorated on the underside and on the stem with an asymmetric design of famille-rose flower roundels of different sizes and with different geometric patterns, some freely floating, some overlapping, all reserved on a green ground finely incised with scrolling foliage, the interior applied with a pale turquoise glaze, the rim painted in gold enamel, the interior of the stem left white and inscribed in underglaze -blue with a six-character horizontal Qianlong reign mark.
