With steep sides rising to a slightly flared rim， the exterior of the bowl painted in variegated cobalt tones with a continuous scroll of foliate stems issuing flower blossoms， the interior similarly decorated with interlocking floral and stems pattern， the motif framed between a double line at the rim and further plain bands encircling the foot，， covered overall with an unctuous glaze.
