Grand Complications, Ref. 5320G, Diameter 38 mm, CIRCA 2018
Condition Report Grade 1

Inspired from the masterpieces made from the 1940s and 1950s, Patek Philippe creates reference 5320G, a retro perpetual calendar watch. The ivory-white dial has a light yellowish tone with a refreshing design. The double apertures at 12 o’clock clearly show the weekday and month, which are derived from the model 1526 in 1941 and model 1526 in 1942. Together with the day/night and leap year indicators on two sides, the subsidiary dial for date combined with moon phases at 6 o’clock has displayed various fine and complex functions. The three-dimensional hour indexes and the long-pointed hands based on the Barton style echo with the model 1463 created in 1950s. Both indexes and hands are coated with luminous coating, which allow the user to read the time clearly. The case is made of 18K white gold, and the design of the three-layer lugs is based on the model 2405 in the 1950s. The sapphire crystal display back shows the automatic 324 S Q movement with the Patek Philippe seal. This lot is undoubtedly a collection of elegant watches designed by Patek Philippe over the years.
